The ‘held’ limited edition artists’ book is a collection of photographs produced by artist Jane Fradgley. The Bethlem museum’s collection of restraining garments, provided the raw material for these haunting images of historical, protective & restraining garments and a unique view of what may otherwise be regarded as an inhumane form of control. I was privileged to work with Jane on the design of her book.
